ME

I am a business seller based in south east Cornwall, UK.  I sell retro and vintage goods, particularly pens and writing equipment. Fountain pens have been serviced prior to sale unless otherwise stated

MY TERMS OF BUSINESS

SHIPPING

I always aim to despatch goods within one day of receipt of payment, and post by second class mail in most cases, in order to minimise shipping costs for the customer. I always obtain proof of posting.
In respect of larger items I may seek alternative carriers in order to keep shipping costs down. If you require an item quickly, please ask, so we can come to an arrangement regarding first class delivery. For overseas customers, the postage prices quoted are for Royal Mail economy international delivery, which can take up to 28 days within Europe, or longer to other destinations. However, customer feedback suggests items often arrive much quicker. If you want to ensure a faster delivery, please contact me before you buy so I can quote you alternative postal charges and amend your invoice accordingly. 

Items over £20 in value are mailed by tracked/signed for delivery. This facility is offered free of charge to UK customers, a small charge may be made in respect of overseas customers. 

I am happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, I will issue amended invoice before you make payment. 
I will contact you as soon as possible after your purchase to keep you fully informed regarding the despatch of your item.

PAYMENT
Payment by Paypal is preferred, within 72 hours if possible. If this is not possible, please contact me. I would be happy to extend this in exchange for your communication. I am equally happy to accept PPPay under the same terms. A cheque is fine if you are purchasing in UK, just let me know your timescale for sending it. I am not able to accept foreign currency cheques due to the high bank charges involved in processing these.


RETURNS
I am happy to accept returns up to 30 days after purchase, as determined by UK law. In the case of damaged or faulty goods, or items not as described (vintage items are not always perfect but I will list all known defects in the sales listings), I am happy to meet the return postage costs. If you have changed your mind about the item, I would request that the buyer pays the return postage.
