Some Information About Groverspal
I am an Englishman born in Plymouth, Devon, the place where Stanley Gibbons (the Stamp & Collectibles dealer) first set up shop. I have been collecting stamps for over 60 years. After many years I concentrated on Great Britain QEII, because of the expense of trying to collect several different countries. Forty plus years ago I moved to the USA where in later years I started putting together a collection of USA and Princess Diana, but unfortunately the scope was too big and therefore I am selling these collections to fully concentrate on Great Britain QEII. Most of the USA apart from a few plate blocks and sheets have already been sold, but I still have a reasonably large collection of Princess Diana.
My other hobbies include fishing for mainly Carp and anything else that decides to jump on the hook. All fish are returned safely to the water as I am a "Catch and Release" guy. My fishing interests have followd me since the age of 5 years old and as a result of this interest I always pick up English fishing magazines while in England which you will find sometimes in my listings.
The other main hobby is Woodworking and Scrollsaw work for which I have many magazines to list in my store.
Even though I have the luxury of being retired, my many interests and my family leave me with little time to deal with everything. I will always endeavour to mail items by the next business day or within 2 days.
