Sheep with blue wool in Ireland, monstrous sea animals off South America, a Greet peasant bandaged to the eyes, an a jamboree of horses in Afghanistan. One shot shows how close he came to death fulfilling an assignment; another was taken not by Duncan at all, but, incredibly enough, was made by the camera itself, jarred by enemy fire.
