Seller's Description

Original 9 1/2 inch x 7 inch Still of KEN RUSSELL rehearsing a scene with JENNIE LINDEN for his 1969 Drama WOMEN IN LOVE, based on the novel by D.H. Lawrence.

Ken Russell vaulted onto the international stage with this film, drawing on the psychosexual radicalism of D. H. Lawrence’s classic novel to shatter taboos in his own time. Set in an English mining community, Women in Love traces the shifting currents of desire that link the emancipated Brangwen sisters (Jennie Linden and an Oscar-winning Glenda Jackson) to a freethinking dreamer (Alan Bates) and a strong-willed industrialist (Oliver Reed).

The still, on heavyweight paper, is in very good condition with captions taped to the reverse.
