Original oil and gas vintage magazine ad for WESTERN SUPPLY COMPANY. Selective Service, aromatics to aspirin. Benzene and Toluene currently produced at Cosden Petroleum Corporation's Big Spring, Texas refinery so greatly exceeded the purity requirements of the ASTM Nitration Grade specifications, that these products are now being used directly in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals such as aspirin and cortisone. Western heat exchangers perform an important service in the conservation and transfer of heat during the selective extraction of these aromatic hydrocarbons.
