The blouse combines a softly gathered bodice with a high strict collar similar to those in fashion for men of this era (the early 20's) and cuffed close-fitting sleeves. Made of creamy silk crepe with lace trim at collar and cuff. A charming peplum is formed by elastic inserted at waistline. View A is long enough to tuck in, and has plain collar and cuffs. The low-calf-length six-gore skirt is very slim, skimming the hips to flare out at the knee. A side zipper and waistband complete the construction. The skirt dates from 1932.
