This is a lovely beaded vintage purse or handbag, most likely from the 50's or 60's. The color is just slightly off white or ivory. It is heavily beaded with small, medium and large beads arranged in diagonal bands across the front and back. The handle is made of a fabric mesh that is tightly covered with seed beads. The purse has a metal frame with mother of pearl plastic strips across the top on both sides. The inside is lined with ivory fabric and there is a pocket on one side. There is a tag inside that says "Hand Made in Hong Kong". Dimensions when laid flat are about 11" wide at the bottom and 10.5" tall.

This handbag is in beautiful condition for its age. I don't see any signs of missing beads. The inside is clean and the metal twist knobs on top work well and close the purse securely. The only flaw I see is a tiny discolored area around the base of one seed bead on one side of the purse. This is indicated with an arrow in the second to last photo above. The metal frame shows very slight signs of age but overall, this handbag doesn't look like it was ever used much, if at all.
