Description
Item: A vintage GE driving light.
Manufacturer: GE.
Condition: Used, rough condition.
-The Good: The glass lens is in nice shape for its age. There are no cracks, breaks, or chips in the lens. It looks like all of the needed original mounting hardware is included.
-The Bad: The housing is in rough shape. The chrome finish is tarnished, worn, and dirty. The wire doesn’t look to be useable to me and might have to be replaced. It looks like the base is bent. But I cannot tell if that is how it is supposed to be of if it is actually damaged. I have not tested the light. I have no idea what this was off or how old it is.
Measurements: The light diameter is 6.5” and is about 1’ in height including the base.
Other Information: I am pretty sure that this is for a 6-Volt electrical system, but I am not sure. It looks like this would be for the right side of a vehicle. A nice part to install on your vintage vehicle or rat rod!
