Seller's Description
Here is a beautiful vintage silver sugar and creamer set! Both pieces are stamped with "COLONIAL ROGERS" between two anchor marks on the bottom. The sugar is stamped with "6853" on the bottom and the creamer is stamped with "6854". (See closeups) I believe these are silverplate. The sugar does not come with a lid.
The creamer stands 4-3/4" tall and is about 5-1/8" at its widest point. The sugar bowl stands about 4-1/4" high and is just under 6" at its widest point. Both of these pieces are in excellent estate condition. There is a heavy scratch on the base of the creamer that measures about 3/8" in length. (This can be seen just to the right of the flash reflection on the base in the 2nd and 5th photos above.) Otherwise, I don't see any major flaws....just minor signs of normal use. I do not know the age of this set, but I'm guessing 50's or 60's.
