Vintage 1940's-1950's King Seeley Corp 5-Didget Odometer Assembly

Description

Item: A vintage 5-didget odometer.

Manufacturer: King Seeley Corp.

Condition: Used, unknown working condition.

-The Good: The part seems to be complete in my understanding.

-The Bad: This part is in rough shape and I am not sure if it works or not. There is wear and scratches on the number readout and a break on one of them. The aluminum part behind the numbers spins but I think it is bent. There is a corkscrew like component that looks rusty, but with a cleaning and/or oiling it could be made to move.

Measurements: About 4” deep, 4.5” wide, and roughly 2” tall.

Other Information: I don’t know if this works or not, so it is being sold as is. Perhaps with some TLC, oil, and cleaning it could work again. This is an old odometer since it only goes up to 99,999 miles until it turns over. I don’t know exactly what vehicle this came from, but from my understanding this was used on a wide range of vehicles. Please be sure this is the correct part you need before purchasing.
