Seller's Description
One of the premier bandleaders of his time, Larry Clinton was known for “swinging the classics” (the practice of adding texts and light syncopation to previously composed classical works). These are two SNAPPY fox trots from Victor Records, circa late 1940's. Graded as excellent, these are superb sounding plays and show only incidental wear. One tiny edge chip on the B side does NOT affect the audio. Fine glossy sheen!
Side 26575-A presents "Ten Mile Hop", an instrumental and side 26575-B shows, "The Lady Said 'Yes' ", with vocal by Ford Leary. Both are performed by the Larry Clinton Orchestra.
