Seller's Description
A Victor Bat Wing Label from the Roaring Twenties and one of the "Big Three" in label names. This is a pair of dance rhythms from the big band of Paul Whiteman and His Orchestra. Using a large ensemble and exploring many styles of music, Whiteman is perhaps best known for his blending of symphonic music and jazz and produced recordings that were immensely successful, with press notices often referring to him as the "King of Jazz". Duke Ellington declared, "Paul Whiteman was known as the King of Jazz, and no one as yet has come near carrying that title with more certainty and dignity."

Side 19252-A offers the fox trot, "So This Is Venice!", from Ziegfeld's Follies.
Side 19252-B shows, "Learn To Do The Strut", another medley fox trot from Irving Berlin's Music Box Revue.
Rated at VG+ but showing moderate and faint evidence of playwear. Light scuffs and scratches. A 1-inch hairline crack is showing along the rim which will sound as the needle passes, but causes no skips.
