Original U.S. 22 inch x 28 inch Half Sheet Poster for the 1962 Robert Wise Beatnik Comedy TWO FOR THE SEESAW, based on the play by William Gibson and starring Robert Mitchum, Shirley MacLaine, Edmon Ryan, Elisabeth Fraser, Eddie Firestone and Billy Gray.

Jerry Ryan is wandering aimlessly around New York, having given up his law career in Nebraska when his wife asked for a divorce. He meets up with Gittel Mosca, an impoverished dancer from Greenwich Village, and the two try to straighten out their lives together.

Poster art by Mitchell Hooks (1923 - 2013). An American artist and illustrator known for his artwork for paperback books and magazines. He also designed film posters, including the first James Bond movie, Dr. No, for which he painted the iconic image of Sean Connery as Bond. He also designed the Clint Eastwood posters for “A Fistful of Dollars” and a “For a Few Dollars More”.

The poster is in fine folded condition.
