Leading to the much anticipated Episode VII – The Force Awakens, Topps released the Journey to the Force Awakens set in August 2015. This is the US release (with the UK having a different card set with the same name).

Using the same card layout as the original 1977 card series and the same thick matte card stock, the 110 base-card set features 70 cards with scenes from all 6 previous movies and 30 cards with scenes from The Force Awakens trailer. The backs of the cards have similar write-ups (Movie Facts, Story Summary) to the 1977 cards, making the cards an entertaining read. The 30 Force Awaken cards have puzzle backs that form 9-card movie posters.

There are 9 different base card variants, each with various rarities ranging from 1 per pack (Slime Green) to unique 1-of-1 Imperial Red foils. Any numbered parallels were available only in the hobby edition.

There are 7 insert sets that were included in both hobby and retail editions. 4 additional insert sets were found as exclusives with 4 different retailers in the US. None of the inserts have parallel/variants.

2 premium hits were found in each hobby box. The hits comprised of autographs, sketch cards, manufactured patches cards and printing plates. Buyback cards  from previous sets were also randomly inserted and had The Force Awakens logo foil-stamped on the front.

Shipping and Packaging

• The Local Pickup option is available only to the Greater Toronto Area. Time and place will be determined by us.
• Shipping costs are calculated based on size and weight and the destination address.
• Multiple orders within a 48-hour period can be combined to save on shipping costs. Please contact us for a combined invoice before payment.
• Orders are shipped within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
• All shipments will have delivery confirmation and insurance. A tracking number will be provided once the item ships.
• Item(s) will be packaged securely as possible to prevent damage.
• Premium hit cards (sketches, autographs, etc) will be packaged in a card sleeve and top-loader.
• Card sets will be packaged based on quantity in sleeves, team bags or cardboard boxes.
• We will only ship to verified Paypal addresses.

Shipping costs for single cards and sets are grouped usually by the number of cards and occasionally by weight (ie medallion cards, etc). Below are the typical number of trading cards for each group. Costs are usually an increase of $2-5 dollar per group.

• Group 1 – 1-3 trading cards (under 40 grams)
• Group 2 – 4-200 trading cards (under 500 grams)
• Group 3 – 200+ trading cards (over 500 grams)

Payment and Processing

• Payment will need to be received within 5 days of winning the auction. If there are any issues, please contact us.
• Paypal is the only accepted form of online payment. Cash is only available for the local pickup option (for GTA buyers only).
• Returns are accepted under certain conditions (ie not as described, etc). Please see our Return Policy.
• Feedback will be provided once the transaction has fully completed.

Duties & Taxes

• Canadian residents, tax will be automatically added to the purchase based on your province or territory. At this time, Saskatchewan residents are responsible for declaring their own provincial taxes.
• International residents, the value of the item will be declared on any required customs form.
