Seller's Description
12inch x 18inch Poster The Tragedy of Man (Hungarian: Az ember trag??di??ja) is a play written by the Hungarian author Imre Mad??ch. It was first published in 1861. The play is considered to be one of the major works of Hungarian literature and is one of the most often staged Hungarian plays today. In one of the final scenes of the play, the actors visit the year the distant future to a Phalanstery. A phalanst??re (or Phalanstery) was a type of building designed for a utopian community and developed in the early 19th century by Charles Fourier. Based on the idea of a phalanx, this self-contained community ideally consisted of 1500-1600 people working together for mutual benefit. This set is how they envisioned the future to be. - There is a border around the image. Image size is correct.
