Reprinted from Arch'ologia volume 108, 1986 (pages 189 to 226), by Adlard & Sons for the Society of Antiquaries of London. Includes 8 pages of color plates, 15 pages of black and white plates. This study charts the complete history of this important collection of glass from its commissioning for the Abbey of Herkenrode in the old Principality of Liege, through its fate at the suppression of the abbey in 1793 to its removal to England and installation in Lichfield Cathedral, Ashtead St Giles, Shrewsbury St Mary, Barton-under-Needwood, and Folk Park, New Barnet.
