Overall condition is acceptable. This is a ex-library book and as such, has all the hallmarks of being so. The scans of the front and back covers show the extent of the wear to include scuffing, writing, creasing, and much more. The spine has no obvious creasing but has heavy edge wear. Not visible in the scans is that there is a strip of clear tape along the spine to prevent further destructive wear to the covers and to stop separation. The number 52 is written in pen on the inside front cover and the title page looks to be missing. There is a "library" checkout card pocket and card but in all honestly, it looks hand-made, perhaps by a teacher for their classroom library rather than a school library proper. Interior pages and the insides of the covers have discolored with age.
