Up for sale is a old vintage original Basic Reader The Oregon Trail written by Francis Parkman and Published by Doubleday & Co. in Garden City N. Y. and illustrated by Thomas Hart Benton in 1946. On the front cover along the top and down the edge there is wear, scuff marks, and the corners are rounding from age, and light staining on the cover. Also at the top and bottom of the spine there is wear and along the spine there is wear and scuff marks. On the back cover along the top and down the edge there is wear, light nicks, scuff marks, and the corners are rounding from age. The pages are in great shape no pen or pencil marks, tears, crayon, creases, stains, or fading. But the pages are lightly yellowing from age, and on some pages there is light brown smudges. Besides this the book  is in great shape for being 79 years old.
