Seller's Description

Offered is the 1960 first printing by McGraw-Hill of Jules Feiffer's "The Explainers". Feiffer is considered to be the most widely read satirist in the U.S. This is one of his early publications featuring his cartoon satire works. The book, sadly, has seen better days. A recovery out of a discarded book bin, the front and back covers are very worn with the back cover having been repaired from being torn off. A tape binding was done to shore up the covers and spine. The interior pages have very minimal yellowing and no loose pages though care should be taken when reading. There is some writing (see on the cover) and former owner's name on the inside cover. Still, it is a first edition (stock number 20369) and a chance to see Feiffer's early work at a reduced cost.
