Up for sale is a old vintage original Tell-A-Tale series The Sailboat That Ran Away in very good condition written by Madye Lee Chastain and illustrated by Madye Lee Chastain and published by Whitman Publishing Co. in Racine Wis. in 1950. On the front cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is wear, scuff marks, nicks, and the corners are rounding from age, and on the front cover there is wear, scuff marks, light scratches, and a few light creases. Also at the top and bottom of the spine there is wear, and along the spine there is wear. On the back cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is wear, scuff marks, nicks, and the corners are rounding from age, and on the back cover there is wear, scuff marks, and light scratches.The page has no pen or pencil marks, tears, crayon, creases, stains, or fading. But the pages dose show light yellowing, rounding and blunting at the corners of the pages. Besides this the book is in great condition for being 68 years old.
