Up for sale is a old vintage original basic reader A First Reader. written by Nathaniel L. Berry and Published by Newson & Co in New York N. Y., and illustrated by Margaret Ely Webb in 1906. Also on the front cover along the top and down the edge of the cover there is wear, scuff marks,scratches, and the corners are rounding and lightly fraying from age. Also on the front cover there is wear, scuff marks,amd scratches. Also at the top and bottom of the spine there is wear and light fraying and along the spine there is wear, scuff marks, and scratches. On the back cover along the top and down the edge there is wear, scuff marks, scratches, and the corners are lightly fraying and rounding from age, and on the cover there is wear scuff marks, and scratches. The pages are in good condition no pen or pencil marks, crayon, or fading. But the pages dose show light yellowing from age and on 9 or 10 pages there is a tear from 1/2"  to 3 1/2", and some pages have light brown smudges, and on a 8 pages at the bottom of the pages there is light stains, and on the last page it is creased, and on a few pages there is a small nick out of the pages. Besides this the book is in great condition for being 119 years old. If you have any questions just message me.
