236 – June 1972 – 52 Page Giant! GD/VG
“The Human Fishbowl!” is by Ed Herron, Carmine Infantino & Joe Giella as Earthling Astronauts meet hostile Aliens on Mars! Adam Strange stars in "Challenge of the Rival Spaceman!" by Gardner Fox, Infantino & Murphy Anderson, as an Alien hitches a ride on the Zeta-Beam with Adam to Rann, then vanishes! Alanna then takes Adam to the Festival of Dyalina taking place in Ranagar…a celebration of a legend that five thousand years ago a warrior named Pagathann defeated a tyrant and led his people to freedom where they built what is now Ranagar! Adam is visited in his sleep by the creature that explains that it is Xanthos, champion of the planet Mizlar, a title he shares with fellow champion Yarnak. He explains that the two have been fighting for a long time without a clear victor & heard that Adam Strange was the undefeated champion on the planet Rann, hoped to learn from Adam so that he may learn how to defeat Yarnak. He them subliminally instructs that he will fake three dangers, one by animal, nature and intelligent life, which Adam would then have to defeat…fun times follow! “The Spaceman Who Came To Dinner!” by Otto Binder & Manny Stallman shows an Alien is the 1st to visit Earth and his strange ways are confusing, until the Interplanetary Police catch him! "Where Was I Born? Venus? Mars? Jupiter?" stars The Space Rovers, as Homer Gint has strange dreams!

"The Emotion-Master of Space!" by Gardener Fox, Infantino & Anderson! Traveling once more to Rann, Adam is suddenly attacked by Alanna and the people of Ranagar! He finds that they have been controlled by a being named Emotion Master who is using his Coilodyne to control the emotions of others. Adam's weapons have no effect and after giving Adam a show of his power the Alien leaves him behind in order to prepare to shift Rann's place in the universe with his own planet! "The Emperor of Earth!" by Fox & Anderson shows Kenneth Carey, an Explorer finding the mystical Scarlet jewel in the jungle…and becomes the King of Earth using it’s powers!
