Simplicity 6201 sewing pattern Misses' Short Dress (Approximate Length of Dress is 36''). This 1974 vintage pattern can be used to a Misses short dress in 5 different variations, in a size 8 (Bust 31-1/2"). Parts of the pattern have already been cut put. Please see the pattern inventory for details.

Misses' Short Dress (Approximate Length of Dress is 36''):
The short dress with flared skirt stitched to bodice at normal waistline has front band button closing above center front seam, shirt type collar and top-stitching trim. V. 1 has self fabric ruffles. V. 1 & 2 have long set-in sleeves gathered to button cuffs and purchased belt. V. 3, 4 & 5 have short set-in sleeves with outside tucks and self fabric tie belt. V. 5 features purchased appliqués.

Suggested fabrics:
Seersucker, gingham, sateen, crepe de chine, crepe, jersey, challis, printed silk, surah, chambray, muslin, flocked fabrics. Dress View 2, 3, 4 and 5 also in lightweight wool, wool flannel, wool homespun, tweed, double knits, canvas, linen, poplin, pique, silk linen, shantung.

Sewing notions:
Thread, seam binding or stretch lace, seven 3/4" buttons. View 1 or 2: Four 5/8." buttons, belt. View 5: Two purchased appliqué pieces.

The envelope is in fair condition with corner wear and edge rolling. Part of the flap has been ripped off. There is a large dirt smudge on the front. Someone has written "Neck to Waist 16-1/2" on the back. I see no other writing or stampings on the envelope. (see Pictures).

Please Note that I ship patterns via letter mail, in a plain envelope and the listed postage is for that method. My Patterns are stored in a plastic storage bags and they are shipped in the same bag placed inside of a standard envelope. If you require any other packaging/shipping please let me know prior to paying for the item
