Seller's Description
There existed at least three different Silvertone Labels in the United States. The oldest Silvertone (shown here) was a record manufactured for Sears Roebuck, & Co. for sale in their chain of department stores and through mail order. Silvertone Records were manufactured c. 1905 - 1931, and then revived briefly in 1940 - 1941. Early releases were single-sided lateral-cut gramophone records; in the late 1910s double-sided discs began to be released.
Here is the great sound of a tenor solo (sung in English) with orchestra with James Reed.
In excellent shape! A high gloss shows very few scratches, and exceptionally clean overall. The "notice label" is still attached to the reverse. No chips, cracks, or skips. Clear audio awaits the listener!
Presented here is "Santa Lucia", a Neapolitan Folksong.
