Offered is the 1977 Signet Books paperback reprinting of John Scarne's original 1951 hardcover book which had been published by Crown Publisher's Inc. This is a first printing through Signet. This illustrated book has 200 magic tricks in which he claims any novice can easily master and without special materials. However, some tricks do require some fabrication on the part of the student (for example, the magic changing shoelace trick). The book is acceptable in condition and the cover scans pretty clearly show the wear. Interior pages have browned with age but are still very much legible. There is a crease along the spine and some edge wear but fortunately, no vertical spine creasing as caused by reading.
