Original British 17 inch x 11 inch Trade Advertisement from Kinematograph Weekly for the 1951 Lewis Gilbert Drama SCARLET THREAD, based on the play by A.R. Rawlinson & Moie Charles and starring Kathleen Byron, Laurence Harvey, Sydney Tafler, Arthur Hill, Eliot Makeham, Dora Bryan, Harry Fowler and Cyril Chamberlain.
A shabby petty thief (Harvey) links up with a deformed but suave gangster (Tafler), and kills a passer-byduring a jewellery raid. The thief falls for a university professor’s daughter (Byron) before realizing it was her father he shot.
The Advertisement is in very good condition with a vertical centre fold.
