Overall condition is acceptable. The front and back covers have moderate to heavy shelf wear, to include scuffing and edge wear, in addition to some creasing, scratches, and indents from usage. So, again, this book has seen some use...one of the points of a reference guide. I suspect it was used in the field, too. Interior pages show no discoloration due to quality paper usage. The spine shows no vertical creasing but is a bit curved. There is adhesive on the top and bottom edges near the spine which may suggest the book had been repaired some time in the past. If so, it was a pretty good repair job. Regardless, this is a good reference guide for rock and mineral collectors.
