Seller's Description
OEM Automatic Level Control Sensor (electronic air ride sensor) w/ Link for rear suspension (air shocks)
Mounts by the left rear wheel.
Rebuilt - disassembled, lubricated, inspected and needed parts replaced. Proper factory-specified height angle set. Re-painted.
Tested - confirmed proper operation.
Core Required: For this type of sensor, I require the buyer's old core sensor. I will include a return shipping label in the box for you to send your old sensor to me after your installation. There is no additional cost to the buyer.
GM Part #: 22153656 (Note: There are other GM part #s that have been used for this part in the past -- your old part will probably have one of the following superceded #s on it: 22149496, 22149673, 22153608, 22153909)
Fits the following vehicles:
-
1997-2005 Buick Park Avenue
-
1995-1999 Buick Riviera
-
1995-1999 Oldsmobile Aurora
-
some 1998-2004 Cadillac Seville**
**NOTE: The only exception to the above list is that some Cadillac Sevilles of this era do not use this sensor, but rather use a different sensor (part # 25728489) at the left rear wheel, which I also have in stock. Here is how to know which one you need: The Sevilles with 4-wheel real-time shock dampening have a sensor at each wheel, and they use that other sensor (# 25728489) at the left rear wheel. The Sevilles without 4-wheel real-time dampening only have one level sensor (located at the rear left control arm), which is solely for the rear shock leveling system, which is THIS LISTING, part # 22153656. So if your 1998-2004 Seville has a sensor at each wheel, then part # 25728489 is the one you need (not this listing), but if it has only one sensor, you need the part in this listing (part # 22153656).
The other cars listed above are straightforward, all using the sensor in this listing (part # 22153656).
Model years: 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005
Rebuilt OEM part... This part has been treated and painted to improve surface condition. The metal components typically developed rust (due to the mounting location on the vehicle), but did not affect the operation of the part. The pictures are from a previously sold unit (I sell many of these). There can be some variation in surface condition, but all parts sold are similar to the one pictured.
180 day warranty.
Free Priority Mail / UPS shipping.
Free technical support. There are several components in the electronic level control system. If you are in doubt as to the faulty part, feel free to contact me.
I carry a full line of level control air compressors and height sensors for GM vehicles. Let me know what you need and I can get it for you!
