- News:  BR and LT publish 1993/4 annual reports; Class 92 on test; 'Pacer' naming at Swanline launch; Jubilee Line gets North Greenwich station; DVT named as Wembley depot gains BS5750 accreditation.

- Preservation Progress:  'Peak' Penyghent runs for the first time in preservation; the Derby Lightweight DMU is finally saved and a rare run for Class 506 EMU.

- Strathclyde's Rail Map Expands:  Barrie Hughes reviews the plans of Strathclyde PTE, which already has the UK's largest urban railway network outside of London, and is planning further expansion. Strathclyde sponsors a number of modern multiple units such as BREL York-built Class 320 No.320311, pictured on June 5, 1991 at Dumbarton with the 1758 service from Drumgelloch to Helensburgh Central.

- Irish 'Class 59' Flies InRAIL has the complete story behind the delivery of Irish Rail's new 201 Class by air from Canada to Dublin.
