A rare collection of 16 wireless telegrams relating to the disaster and providing an on the spot account of the enfolding tragedy from the cheery greetings sent by passengers, the numerous ice-warnings, the stricken liner's calls for help and finally the mesages of hope and despair from those fortunate enough to have survived.
