Overall condition is acceptable. This is a college library book and so it has seen significant wear through the years. The book may have been a paperback converted into a hardcover for use in school/college libraries. The dust jacket looks to be modified by adding panels on the edges to permit it wrap around the book. It used to be glued to the book but is now loose. It has discolored, has some scuff marks, some soiling, what appears to be insect bites on one flap, and obvious wear. The library's Library of Congress Classification sticker is on the spine. The book itself has a a heavily cracked spine, exposing the lattice binding. A strip of clear tape was applied to it in order to stop further deterioration. The front and back covers have wear, corner rounding, and some indents. The interior has the card pocket, a "date due" sheet, a library label on the second page, page discoloration from age, and external library stampings on the book sides.
