IT'S PATH OF GOLD BY A SHORT HEAD

GEOFF BAXTER on PATH OF GOLD (left) battles it out with ALLEZ BRITAIN (noseband), ridden by GEOFF LEWIS and goes on to win by a short head from the favourite in THE HARE WARREN HANDICAP at SALISBURY today.  Third was KING OSCAR (extreme right) ridden by R. P. ELLIOTT.

The photograph is in fair condition but has suffered from browning with age.
