Seller's Description

This is a postcard with a view of the Fountain Hamidie, Salonique/Salonika (now Thessaloniki), Greece.  It was sent, presumably by a British soldier serving there, to an address in Dunfermline, Scotland on 20 March 1917.  It has a field postmark for APO SX5, then at Likovan, and a censor mark.

The postcard is in fair condition with minor wear to the corners and edges, and some marks on the back.

Please see some other WW1 and military-related items, currently on sale, as well as other military mail.
