Seller's Description
This is a postcard with a view of the Scottish Fire Training College at Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland. Formerly the Marine Hotel, ithe College opened in 1954 and was used for the initial training for new fire brigade recruits from across Scotland and also for other specialist training, until closure in 2015 (see more basic details here and more on the history of the site here). The card was published by Valentines and posted in 1967.
The card is in in fair condition, with minor wear to the corners and edges.
