Overall condition is acceptable. This printing was done to promote the 1962 film "Mutiny on the Bounty" though the novel itself is the last of the Bounty Trilogy novels. The front cover has minor to moderate edge wear, a crease running parallel to the spine, a tiny dog ear crease in the upper right corner, some indents, and average shelf wear. The back cover is much the same as the front save the dog ear crease is in the upper left corner, there are some scuff marks, very minor chipping, and a bit above average shelf wear. The spine has no vertical creases but has moderate edge wear, three small scratches, and two tiny indents. Interior pages have some discoloration with age. The former owner's name is written in pen on the first page.
