Netzschkau-Reichenbach, Germany 1945, Local Overprint on 8pf Hitler head issue. MH/no evident hinge marks but there is gum disturbance. Mi #6 (CV $29). Item/s shown are actual item/s.
In areas overrun or occuppied by the Russians, German post offices used Reich stamps overprinted in various ways, many to obliterate Hitler's image, until newly printed stamps were made available.
