Original 1771 6 inch x 11 inch copper plate engraving titled PERSPECTIVE VIEW OF THE CITY OF CHICHESTER, IN THE COUNTY OF SUSSEX.

View of Chichester, the spire of the cathedral and the free-standing bell-tower rising above the houses with the spire of All Saints Church and the Deanery and the Market Cross, trees throughout the city, a stream running through the fields to the foreground with grazing cattle, three figures in a group.

After an earlier engraving by Nathaniel Buck (1696 - 1779) and Samuel Buck (1696 - 1779).
The Buck brothers recorded ruins throughout England and published 428 engravings of monasteries, abbeys, castles and ruins and 87 long prospects of English and Welsh towns, producing a record of England and Wales before the Industrial Revolution.
