Pattern No 309 Basic Yoke Dress (Dolls) by Helen R Berry. Self Published, 1983. Pattern not cut. Cutting layout and instructions complete. Envelope has ink notes on front. No count on pattern pieces. These are basic patterns, doll sizes 20-inch, 22-inch and 25- to 27-inch, that can be made in a variety of dresses. The styles were worn by little girls from 1894 to 1897. The yoke dress has a straight skirt sewn to the yoke, bodice lined or unlined, the skirt may be drawn in at the waist by shirring, a belt or sash. There are a number of yokes to choose from. Five sleeve styles include a bishop sleeve, fitted sleeve with a choice of long or short puffs, a gigot sleeve with its own lining, and fitted sleeve lining. Two collars, epaulettes, lace and bows are other variations available. The patters come with a separate 13 page instruction booklet. The booklet has some underlining and ink notes in the margins.
