Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1958 Norman Taurog Comedy ONIONHEAD, based on the novel by Weldon Hill and starring Andy Griffith, Claude Akins, Ray Danton, Felicia Farr and Walter Matthau.
In 1941, an Oklahoma college graduate joins the US Coast Guard and serves as a cook on a ship based in Boston. "Weldon Hill" was the pseudonym of William R. Scott, a native Oklahoman who based the novel on his own World War II service in the Coast Guard.
The poster is in very good folded condition with a small hole at the top left cross fold and corner pinholes.
