Up for sale is an old vintage original cookie jar Belmont Lion 11 1/2 " tall made by Belmont pottery Co in Belmont Ma. in the1940's. Also the jar is in great condition no cracks, hairlines, crazing, or chips. But the jar dose show tin pin holes in the pottery, and there is wear to the paint. Besides this the jar is in outstanding condition for being 75 or so years old.
