Seller's Description
From the General Phonograph Corporation, circa 1923, though now part of the CBS-Columbia music family. A rich history surrounds this label founded by Otto Heinemann, who issued not only recordings similar to other companies, but also music for audiences in the German, Czech, Polish, Swedish and Yiddish communities neglected by others.
Offered here is a mostly clean and fine sounding pair of 1940's sounds from Les Brown and his Orchestra.

A lot of original gloss still shows through general play wear and faint scratches. No cracks, chips, or skips.
Side 31331 presents the fox trot "Mexican Hat Dance". Side HCO 856 offers, "When The Lights Go On Again" (All Over The World), a fox trot with vocal chorus provided by Jack Carroll.
