A double-sided pressing from CBS Music, about the 1940's. A rich history surrounds this label founded by Otto Heinemann, who issued not only recordings similar to other companies, but also music for audiences in the German, Czech, Polish, Swedish and Yiddish communities neglected by others.
Offered here is a clean and decent sounding pair of Bob Wills Texas Playboys country arrangements.
Side DAL977 presents "Bob Wills' Special", a Hot String Band instrumental, and side DAL981, "New San Antonio Rose", with vocal by Tommy Duncan. Some surface wear and light scratches are to be expected but no skips are caused. Mostly clean with no breaks, chips or cracks.
