Seller's Description
Less than two weeks before The Aristocrat of Records was launched, the independent rhythm and blues label Vitacoustic grew out of the same Chicago-based Universal Recording studio. With considerable promotion through Billboard, the label had early success and scored a major regional hit in May 1947 with The Harmonicats "Peg o' My Heart". Within a year, disputes between investors, general mismanagement and unpaid royalties led to the imprint's demise. Following bankruptcy protection, Vitacoustic was liquidated, with its catalog ending up with Old Swing-Master.
This record is exceptionally clean and clear sounding with a high gloss. Only faint scratches and no chips, cracks, or skips.
Offered here is a pair of instrumentals with harmonica trio and rhythm accompaniment from Jerry Murad's Harmonicats.

Side 7A presents "Peggy O'Neil", and side 7B lists, "September Song".
