This figurine, called "First Dance" depicts a vintage Norman Rockwell scene of a young couple at their first dance. It looks like the boy has placed a gift at her feet and she has stubbed her toe on it. He seems to be in "damage control" mode! This hand crafted porcelain figurine stands about 6-1/4" tall and is about 5" across the base.
This figurine comes from "The 12 Norman Rockwell Porcelain Figurines" collection by The Danbury Mint and is dated September, 1980. It is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks or flaws of any kind that I can see. It comes with the box shown in the photo, although this is not the original box for this piece. This figurine would make a sweet gift or a charming addition to any home's decor!
