Original vintage magazine ad for MOTOROLA COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTRONICS INC. Microwave control offshore oil production across 20 miles of open sea. Add-on equipment will provide automatic controls and telemetering, making it possible for many of the platforms to be entirely unmanned except for maintenance visits.
