A wealthy American has a chance encounter with a joyful young French woman, and anonymously pays for her education. She writes letters to her mysterious benefactor, nicknaming him from the description given by some of her fellow orphans.
On the reverse is the 1955 Danny Kaye Documentary ASSIGNMENT CHILDREN featuring Danny Kaye, Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit , Dag Hammarskjöld Dag Hammarskjöld and Maurice Pate.
Filmed on a world wide trip by Danny Kaye, this is an examination of the state of children in the third world.
