PFAS15 A vintage early hand signed photo for Milton Rosmer with an extensive film list in both lead roles and which he directed who has personally autographed the photo where his signature rests perfectly accompanying his portrait . Has small reverse corner places from former album storage otherwise great condition and with his signing undedicated too.
Milton Rosmer was a British actor, film director and screenwriter. He made his screen debut in The Mystery of a Hansom Cab and continued to act in theatre, film and television until 1956. In 1926 he directed his first film The Woman Juror and went on to direct another 16 films between 1926 and 1938. Rosmer was also a screenwriter and director. The Crimean War epic Balaclava (1928), which had been shot as a silent by Maurice Elvey, was extensively reshot by Rosmer as a talkie, and he also directed such other films as Channel Crossing (1933), The Great Barrier (1937) and Emil and the Detectives (1935). His final film as an actor was John Wesley (1954), after which he worked in television until 1956, when he retired. He died at age 90 in 1971.
