Seller's Description

Here's a label that's the product of two record manufacturers which later became one, Brunswick and Vocalion. This is a May 1, 1936 electrically recorded" pressing from Melotone. A pair of dance melodies, featuring the pre-war sounds of the Johnny Johnson Orchestra with vocals by Lee Johnson.

In superior shape with an clear audio and excellent gloss. Showing just incidental playwear. No skips, cracks, or chips with only light scuff marks. Some background hiss is to be expected.

Side 19164 presents a fox trot rhythm, "One Rainy Afternoon". Side 19165 offers the waltz tempo of, "Secret Rendezvous", both from the 1936 film "One Rainy Afternoon". Both rhythms are WONDERFUL remembrances from the Big Band era!
