Seller's Description
In 1945, Savannah Churchill and Her All Star Orchestra signed with New York-based Manor Records. Over the next couple of years her recordings with this label established her as a recording star. Her debut, the self-penned "Daddy-Daddy" (Manor 1004) reached #3 in the R&B charts.

This record presents an excellent sounding pair of her sexy, sassy and cool vocals. Moderate playwear, but no cracks, chips or skips. A very decent gloss still shows and scratches and scuffs are only incidental.
Side 1004A presents "Daddy-Daddy", with a trombone solo by Jay Jay. Side 1004B lists an Irving Berlin writing, "All Alone", featuring a tenor sax solo by Don Byas.
