Original 10 inch x 8 inch Black and White Portrait of MARIE LOHR in the 1946 Bernard Knowles Romance THE MAGIC BOW, based on the 1941 book “The Magic Bow: a Romance of Paganini” by Manuel Komroff.
Biography of the famous Italian violinist Nicola Paganini which focuses as much on the musician's romances as it does on his craft. Phyllis Calvert plays Jeanne de Vermond, the daughter of Countess de Vermond (Marie Lohr) who captures Paganini's heart, and real-life violin virtuoso Yehudi Menuhin supplies the breathtaking Paganini solos.
